Golden Monkey Ubud
Golden Monkey Ubud is owned by Dewi and Anthony Syrowatka. The owners explored various culinary themes in more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, starting with establishing a few fine dining restaurants – Aperitif Bali; a 5-star resort restaurant in Viceroy Bali – Cascades Restaurant; and their authentic Balinese inspired cuisine – Dapur Raja Restaurant.
Golden Monkey Ubud was the first authentic Chinese restaurant that opened in Central Ubud. the restaurant has become the centre attraction for local Chinese foodies in Ubud. Dewi and Anthony Syrowatka have established themselves as one of the most well-known restaurant owners in Bali.
Executive Chef - Kho Eng Kim (Patrick)
Chef of the Golden Monkey, Kho Eng Khim, brings more than 20 years of culinary experience to lead the Golden Monkey team. With experience as an Executive Chef in China and a Culinary Arts Center certificate, his cuisine features contemporary Cantonese cuisine, Dim Sum and high-end Chinese cuisine.
